In The Air

from Curtains by Paris Street

/

about

This was supposed to be the lead-off track from an EP based on a trip I took in March of 2008 in which I flew to Seattle and then drove back to Nashville. The song "XV" from our "Homeless Songs" album was also part of the EP, as was "The Alley Party", which can be found elsewhere in this collection. Two other songs were written but have yet to be recorded.

lyrics

Over an unknown Montana
We'll just call it as such
At the mercy of the atmosphere
Wires, ailerons, and luck

No headphones for the movie
Though it doesn't look like much
No plans, no expectations at all
Getting away is enough
